Last week, DirecTV said it added about 100,000 subscribers in the third quarter through its regional-Bell-operating-company relationships with Verizon Communications and BellSouth Corp.

DirecTV executive vice president of sales, distribution and business development Steve Cox added, “By combining two well-known brands with a compelling array of entertainment and telecommunications services, Cincinnati Bell and DirecTV will offer consumers superior value and a quality alternative to cable.”
