Starz Entertainment Group LLC will offer an exclusive free preview weekend to all DirecTV Inc. direct-broadcast satellite subscribers from 9 p.m. (EST) Sept. 9-midnight Sept. 11.
The programmer said new DirecTV subscribers who sign up for the “Starz Super Pack” during the free preview weekend will receive $20 Barnes & Noble gift cards .
The free preview will consist of 12 channels in the Starz Super Pack, including Starz, Starz InBlack, Starz Edge, Encore, Encore Love, Encore Westerns, Encore Mystery, Encore Action, Encore Drama and Encore Wam.
Among films that will be featured: Ladder 49, Friday Night Lights, The Village, The Bourne Supremacy and Mr. 3000.
