DirecTV Signs $69M VoIP Pact with AT&T

DirecTV Inc. has signed a three-year, $69 million contract extension with AT&T Corp. for networking services, including voice-over-Internet-protocol service for the direct-broadcast satellite provider’s call centers and enterprise networks.

"AT&T not only provides the critical voice services and features that are the backbone of our customer service, but also the data network that supports our entire enterprise," DirecTV executive vice president and chief information officer Robert Pacek said in a prepared statement.
