DirecTV Syndicates 'The Dan Patrick Show'

DirecTV has reached a deal to syndicate The Dan Patrick Show to Fox Sports Net networks and other regional sports network.
In what the parties are saying it the first time that a programming distributor has sold its original content into national syndication, The Dan Patrick Show, which is based on the nationally syndicated radio show and airs on DirecTV's The 101 Network, will reach 85 million homes.
Deal terms were not disclosed.
The program will launch on FSN's network of regional sports, DirecTV's trio of RSN, MSG Media's MSG Plus and a trio of Comcast-owned sports networks, beginning Monday Oct. 25.
The show will air weekdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
The Dan Patrick Show will be carried by DirecTV's FSN Rocky Mountain, FSN Northwest and FSN Pittsburgh; Fox RSNs and affiliates: FS Florida, FS Ohio, FS Arizona, FS Detroit, FS Midwest, FS Indiana, FS Kansas City, FS North, FS Wisconsin, Prime Ticket, FS South, FS Carolinas, FS Tennessee, FS Southwest, FS Oklahoma, FS Houston, FS West, SportSouth, SunSports; MSG Plus; and Comcast SportsNet Chicago, CSN Mid Atlantic and CSN New England.

"Dan is one of the most talented broadcasters in the business and in the past year we have created a truly unique TV experience for our loyal customers."

And it's not stagnant. It's not us doing a radio show with two cameras showing us talking. We will show you the good and bad of what goes on during a show and during the breaks. If we screw up, we can't hide it."
