Discovery Channel will have the late pitchman Billy Mays on its air for much of the day Wednesday.
The network will still run a previously scheduled marathon of the first 11 episodes of its series Pitchmen on July 1, beginning at 11 a.m. (ET/PT) and concluding with its never-before-seen season finale at 10 p.m. A slate will also be added to the end of the season finale in his remembrance, said network officials. The show, looking at Mays and his business partner Anthony Sullivan, bowed on Discovery Channel April 15
To celebrate a man who was larger than life, Discovery Channel will run tribute promos honoring Mays and never-before-aired moments throughout the day
Discovery has not made regarding season two of Pitchmen, saying it is focused on supporting Mays's family and friends during their time of loss.
Mays died Sunday June 28 in his Tampa home after his hitting his head during a rough plane flight the previous day.
