Discovery Climbs Everest

Discovery Channel will debut six-part world-premiere series Everest: Beyond the Limit Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 10 p.m. (EST/PST).

Everest: Beyond the Limit documents the grueling April/May 2006 attempt to reach the summit by a group of people from all walks of life,” Discovery said, adding that Mark Inglis’ historic summit -- the New Zealander became the first-ever double amputee to scale Everest after losing his legs to frostbite while climbing Mount Cook 24 years ago -- is included in the series

New episodes will air Tuesdays through Dec. 19, the network said.
