Discovery En Espanol To Air Drug Trade-Themed Docu

Discovery En Espanol will take a behind the scenes look at international drug trade through its new documentary, Narcosubmarinos, set to debut on the service Nov. 7.

The documentary focuses on the development and use of 39 foot long semi-submersible vehicles to deliver drugs from South America to Mexico and the United States.

Filmed over an eight month period, Narcosubmarinos uses unedited video and exclusive images of seizures at sea to examine the secret shipyards where these crafts are built to the evolution of these auto propelled submarines, their navigation routes, and the factors that make their detection a continuous challenge for law enforcement officials, according to the network.
