Discovery Communications Inc. has made Working Mother magazine's
annual list of the '100 Best Companies for Working Mothers' for the third
The list is an annual compilation of corporations that best recognize the
value and needs of working families.
For the first time, DCI was selected 'Best in Industry' as the top media and
advertising company in the United States.
With the release of the 17th annual list, Working Mother laid out
three basic trends among the applicants: no rollback of work/life benefits
during the recent recession, a post-Sept. 11 increased emphasis on flexible
scheduling and augmented use of family leave by employees.
