Discovery Thanked for Flying United

Discovery Channel announced Wednesday that United Air Lines Inc. has signed a
two-year renewal that will keep the in-flight Discovery Channel Onboard
programming on its flights through 2004.

The agreement actually encompasses special programming from all of the
Discovery Networks U.S. services, which are shown on United's U.S. and
international flights.

Under the new deal, United will expand the service to Central and South
America via dual-language (Spanish/English) programming, according to Discovery
Private Networks director Catherine Breza.
