If only EchoStar Communications Corp. Dish Network subscribers were allowed to vote in Tuesday’s election, Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) would be the next president of the United States.
EchoStar said Monday that 50.1% of respondents to its election poll chose Kerry, versus 48.2% for President George W. Bush. Independent candidate Ralph Nader picked up the remaining 1.7%.
The poll was conducted using Dish’s interactive programming guide.
