Disney to Bow New Animated Series

Disney Channel will take viewers back to the Middle Ages with a new animated series, Disney’s Dave the Barbarian, set to premiere in January 2004.

The 30-minute series, created by Doug Langdale (Disney’s The Weekenders), will be split into two 11-minute cartoons per episode, the network said.

Produced by Walt Disney Television Animation, Barbarian is Disney Channel's second new animated skien announced this season, following on the heels of last month's debut of Lilo & Stitch: The Series.
