Disney Channel to Air October 'Doc McStuffins' Season Five Premiere

Disney Junior will bring back its Peabody Award-winning animated series Doc McStuffins for a fifth season, with the new season launching Oct. 26 on Disney Channel, the network said Thursday.

The series, which follows young girl who aspires to be a doctor like her mom and communicates with and heals toys, will return with new episodes, bringing its overall total to more than 150 episodes, shorts and specials, according to network executives. Disney Junior in December will also air The Doc McStuffins Christmas Special, which will also air on Disney Channel, ABC and Freeform throughout the holiday season, said the network.
