Kids, tweens and teens (okay, a few adults figure to tune in, too) will be able to get their fill of the Jonas Brothers' new comedy series later this month, before it debuts on Disney Channel.
Jonas is set to debut on the linear channel at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on May 2, following an encore presentation of Camp Rock, which starred Kevin, Joe and Nick and drew more than 10 million viewers in its premiere, at 11 a.m., and a 15-episode marathon of Hannah Montana episodes. The Jonas Brothers opened up for Montana star, Miley Cyrus during her 2007-08 tour.
The premiere of Jonas, simulcast on Sprint TV and MobiTV, will serve as a lead-in to a new installment of Wizards of Waverly Place that night at 8:30 p.m.
For those who can't wait that long a Jonas trailer and promotional video will be available April 17 on mobile video services AT&T CV, Sprint TV and Verizon V Cast. Eight days later, the series premiere will be accessible on Disney Channel On Demand through the on-demand offerings from Time Warner Cable, Cablevision, Verizon FiOS, RCN, Blueridge Communications, Wide Open West, Comspan, Knology/Prairiewave and Ntelos.
Come May 3, the initial Jonas installment will be available on Netflix, iTunes and Sprint TV, AT&T CV and Verizon V Cast.
Starring the Hollywood Records recording artists, the Jonas series follows the fictional Lucas Brothers through the unexpected, unpredictable situations that confront these rock and roll superstar brothers as they try to live ordinary lives. The series features original Jonas Brothers songs created especially for the show.
