Disney Channel Series to Air on ABC

Pasadena, Calif. -- Disney Channel announced Tuesday that two of its
'tween-targeted' original series will get additional airings on broadcast
network ABC beginning in September.

Disney's Lizzie McGuire and Even Stevens will air on ABC as
part of the broadcast network's 'Disney's One Saturday Morning' block beginning
in September.

The network also announced at the Television Critics Association tour here
that the two series have both been renewed for an additional 22 episodes.

In other programming news, Disney will premiere a new original half-hour
series, Stanley, this fall as part of its 'Playhouse Disney' programming
block for preschoolers. The series -- based on characters from the popular
children's book series of the same name -- will also be featured on Disney's new
Playhouse Disney Channel, which is set to debut next year, Disney Channel
general manger and executive vice president of programming and production Rich
Ross said.
