There's a new Mouse in the house at Disney Channel.

Add Disney as the latest cable network to adopt a new logo and on-air
look this fall.

The revamp, announced Monday, will roll out globally on each of ABC Cable
Networks Group's 15 Disney Channels around the world.

ABC Cable Networks Group president Anne Sweeney, who is also president of
Disney Channel Worldwide, announced that the new logo is a combination of two
classic Disney icons -- the distinctive signature of founder Walt Disney and a
portion of Mickey Mouse's familiar ears.

The current logo design also incorporates those elements, although that's
built around three circles that form the outline of Mickey Mouse's entire head.

Worldwide brand strategy executive vice president Eleo Hensleigh at ABC Cable
Networks Group was appointed by Sweeney to oversee development of the redesign. Her team included 15 representatives from within Disney Channel, as well as
outside design firm Razorfish.

New identification spots, programming menus and interstitial programming also
will incorporate the new logo art.

Last week, American Movie Classics and A&E Network also unveiled new logos
and on-air graphic revamps for fall.
