Disney Channel Taps Kid Experiences For Short-Form Series

Disney Channel will let kids and tweens share important milestones in their lives as part of a series of short interstitials premiering on the channel Nov. 8.
The series, The Time I ... features one-to-two minute segments profiling stories of everyday kids discussing how they dealt with major events and accomplishments in their lives, said network officials.
Subjects highlighted in the documentary include "The Time I...Became a Big Sister," "The Time I....Flew By Myself," and  "The Time I...Won a Blue Ribbon at the Country Fair."
"This series contains more than 20 inspirational storytellers and unique stories featuring the emotional milestones that kids around the world experience," said Ron Pomerantz, Vice President, Creative Director, Disney Channel. "Our hope is that by sharing these experiences, kids will feel connected and inspired to try new things."
