Disney’s `KC Undercover’ Draws 3.5 Million Viewers

Actress Zendaya’s return to Disney Channel in a new original series KC Undercover drew 3.5 million viewers in its Sunday premiere.

The series, in which Zendaya plays the daughter of two spies, was also the top cable TV telecast thus far in 2015 among key demographics, including kids 2-11 (1.7 million viewers), kids 6-11 (1.4 million), and tweens 9-14 (1.4 million).

The premiere episode debuted Jan. 1 on the WATCH Disney Channel app and delivered close to 400,000 unique users and 800,000 video starts, said network officials.
