Disney Sets May '2016 Radio Disney Music Awards' Telecast

Disney Channel will air the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards on May 1, the network announced Tuesday.

The RDMA’s will take place April 30, with Disney airing a special two-hour telecast of the event the next night, according to officials. Disney’s 2015 telecast of the RDMA’s garnered 4.3 million total viewers and ranked first among all televised 2015 music awards shows in the key Kids 6-11 demographic, said network officials.

Highlights will also be available on Radio Disney, the Radio Disney App, WATCH Disney Channel and RadioDisney.com, said network officials.
