Disney Slates Second Season of Tigger & Pooh

Continuing to fuel its education-styled Playhouse Disney programming block, Disney Channel ordered up a second season of preschool series My Friends Tigger & Pooh.

Since the show debuted May 12, it has ranked No. 1 among kids ages 2-5 with a 5.2 household rating, according to the network.

Each episode of the show features a mystery in the Hundred Acre Wood that kids are encouraged to solve with the help of show characters Tigger, Pooh and Darby through an interactive curriculum encouraging “reflective” thinking skills.

The internationally-distributed series is a production of Walt Disney Television Animation.
