Disney-ESPN Promotes Pair In Distribution

Disney Media Distribution and Disney and ESPN Media Networks said it has promoted Mia Rondinella to senior vice president, global distribution and strategy, and Jimmy Zasowski to vice president, business strategy, Disney and ESPN Media Networks.

In her new role, Rondinella will manage with the Disney & ESPN Media Networks’ domestic affiliate sales and marketing business strategy group and oversee the global distribution business operations and strategy team for Disney Media Distribution. 

Rondinella will be based in Burbank and report to Ben Pyne, president, global distribution, Disney Media Networks, and Justin Connolly, executive vice president, affiliate sales and marketing, Disney and ESPN Media Networks. 

Rondinella served most recently as vice president, consumer data and analytics, at Disney/ABC Television Group. She joined The Walt Disney Company in 2001 as an associate in corporate strategic planning.

In his new role, Zasowski will be responsible for developing and executing distribution strategies for the Disney and ESPN Media Networks.  He will also focus on helping develop distribution models for new products and services across existing and new distribution partners. 

Zasowski, most recently senior director, affiliate sales at Disney and ESPN Media Networks, will report to Rondinella and will continue to be based in New York. He joined ESPN in 2010.
