Turner Network Television has lassoed two major sponsors -- DaimlerChrysler Corp.’s Dodge and ING North America Insurance Corp. -- for its epic miniseries from Steven Spielberg, Into the West,officials said Tuesday.
The sponsorships, negotiated by Turner Entertainment Ad Sales and Marketing, will cross over multiple promotional platforms, including television, print and online.
Dodge and ING will be featured in print ads as part of TNT’s marketing campaign for Into the West, running in regional and national newspapers and magazines. The TV portion of the promotion will showcase a variety of on-air creative for both the individual sponsoring brands and Into the West, which kicks off June 10.
Dodge and ING will also receive co-branded banners on the Into the West Web site (www.intothewest.com), which will have interactive and extended components including trailers, interactive games, a historical timeline of the American West and information and biographies of the cast and crew.
