Dodgers Network Makes Docuseries Available on Web Site

On the morning after its linear debut, SportsNet LA made one of its documentary series available on its web site.

Fans of the Los Angeles Dodgers and other users can check out the first episode of Backstage: Dodgers on www.ineedmydodgers.com

The episode, which debuted on the RSN’s Feb. 25 opening night at 8:30 p.m. (PT), takes fans to Clayton Kershaw’s home in Texas the day he found out he won the 2013 National League Cy Young Award and inside the Dodger clubhouse during the first few weeks of spring training. It also features access to manager Don Mattingly’s initial meetings of the spring, unique behind-the-scenes moments with A.J. Ellis, Dan Haren and Paul Maholm and a special segment showing how the Dodger clubhouse attendants prepare for the Cactus League.

Starting March 6, new Backstage: Dodgers episodes will debut every Thursday with weekly episodes throughout the 2014 season.

SportsNet LA, which will add TV and radio personality and lifelong Dodgers fans, dating to their days in Brooklyn , Larry King, to its roster with interview show Larry King At Bat, beginning on March 18, bowed on systems owned by Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks on Feb. 25 at 7 p.m.

The channel, owned by the Dodgers and managed and operated by TWC Sports, including affiliate sales, is negotiating with other carriers in the Los Angeles DMA and throughout the club’s TV territory.
