The Cable & Telecommunications Public Affairs Association presented its
'President's Award' to Cablevision Systems Corp. CEO Jim Dolan and VH1/Country
Music Television president John Sykes in Washington, D.C., Tuesday night.
Driven by its 'Freedom Flag' program, AT&T Broadband systems picked up 14
Beacons. Cablevision won 13 awards, including Dolan's prize and Beacon awards
for the MSO and its Rainbow Media Holdings Inc., Bravo and Fox Sports New York
Cox Communications Inc. won 11 Beacon awards, followed by Comcast Corp. (10)
and VH1 and Lifetime Television (three each).
