'Duck Dynasty' Finale Sets A&E Ratings Record

Season Finale Draws 6.5 Million Viewers

Wednesday’s season finale of A&E’s reality series Duck Dynasty called up a network record 6.5 million viewers, the network announced Friday.

The final episode of season two of the series, which follows a family that runs a Duck calling business, also set network records in key demos including adults 18-49 (3.9 million); adults 25-54 (3.8 million) and adults 18-34 (2 million), according to network officials.

Duck Dynasty represents the best of A&E’s unique brand of storytelling, showcasing authentic and engaging characters,” said Bob DeBitetto, President and General Manager of A&E Network and BIO Channel in a statement. “It’s extremely gratifying to see more and more viewers flocking to the series week after week.”
