E! Lifts Holiday Cheer, Funds With E-Cards

E! Entertainment is helping the Make-A-Wish Foundation raise funds this holiday season by providing TV viewers with the opportunity to create holiday e-cards to benefit the charity.

The cable network will launch a site Nov. 25 to support its 3rd annual "Cards for Kids" campaign. At the site, visitors can shop for cards featuring the work of top children's book illustrators, including David Kirk (Ms. Spider), Eric Carle (Very Hungry Caterpillar) andHIT Entertainment (Bob the Builder, Barney). The effort is part of E!'s ongoing "Play a Part" initiative. The cards are free to users, and once they are sent, E! makes a donation to Make-A-Wish.

On air, the channel will promote the charitable effort with public service announcements featuring Jenny McCarthy, Nick Lachey, Sandra Bernhard and cast member of The Office such as Leslie David Baker, Creed Bratton and Kate Flannery.
