E! Entertainment Television's Aug. 16 premiere of reality series Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami drew nearly 2.7 million viewers, the second biggest audience in network history.
The audience for the series, a spinoff on the network's popular Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality show, was second only to the 4,1million viewers generated by an Aug. 2002 episode of The Anna Nicole Show, according to E!. Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, which follows the exploits of two Kardashian sisters as they strike out on their own in Miami, did set a network record among women 18-34, drawing 1 million viewers in the demo.
Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami also out-performed all premiere episodes of its parent series Keeping Up with the Kardashians and produced significant gains in 10 p.m. time period, delivering more than six times as many viewers as the same period a year ago.
Also, E!'s premiere of series Reality Hell, immediately following Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, averaged nearly 1.3 million viewers -- almost triple the network's primetime viewing audience, said the network.
