EACN Taps New Sales-Rep Firms

Executive Airline Clubroom Network, a place-based network featuring CNNfn and targeted to business travelers, has added sales-rep firms in New York and Chicago.

EACN's national sales rep, New York-based Malachite Media, has signed joint sales agreements with New York-based Joyella Media Partners LLC and Chicago-based 301 Media.

These sales initiatives coincide with the rollout of the network in the first quarter of 2003 to United Air Lines Inc. "Red Carpet" airport clubrooms. The network already serves Delta Air Lines, American Airlines Inc. and US Airways Inc.

EACN's plasma-screen television monitors deliver CNNfn programming and commercials to clubrooms at major U.S. airports.

The 301 Media shop is headed by Gregg Johnson, whose resume includes stints at CNBC and Cable News Network in Chicago.

The Joyella firm rep is headed by Jim Joyella, onetime CBS Television Network and owned-stations executive, and David McCoy, a former affiliate-ad-sales executive at Fox Family Channel, Comedy Central and CNN.
