Eagle Broadband Inc. said Tuesday that it has added personal-video-recorder functionality to its “MediaPro IP5000” Internet-protocol-TV set-tops.
The vendor added that the MediaPro IP5000 boxes deliver dual-tuner, dual-streaming PVR in standard-definition and HD formats for the residential IPTV market.
“With the availability of our new ‘IP3000’ and IP5000 with PVR functionality, IPTV-service providers now have a powerful combination of advanced features and functionality at the lowest possible cost, enabling them to offer a full range of highly competitive video services to their subscribers," Eagle CEO David Micek said in a prepared statement.
