Electra to Host Spike TV’s AutoRox

Carmen Electra is getting behind the wheel with Spike TV.

Electra will host AutoRox, which the network described as “the first ever nationally televised auto awards show honoring and celebrating America's passion for the automobile.”

The 90-minute show will be taped Saturday, Jan. 22, at the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles, and Spike TV will air it Tuesday, Jan. 25 from 9 p.m.-10:30 p.m. (EST/PST).

AutoRox will feature a special performance by Detroit native and car lover Kid Rock, and Funkmaster Flex, host of Spike TV's Ride with Funkmaster Flex, will be featured prominently throughout the show.

"AutoRox will celebrate the automobile as an icon and what it represents in this country -- freedom, style, speed, music, luxury and personality," Spike TV president and AutoRox executive producer Albie Hecht said in a prepared statement.
