Food Network announced Tuesday that it would send its star chef, Emeril
Lagasse, back to school for the second annual 'Emeril Kicks Up Your School
Cafeteria' promotion.
Through Feb. 10, students in grades four through eight can register at FoodTV.com for a chance to have the popular
chef visit their school and cook a meal in their cafeteria. The network plans to
film Lagasse's appearance at the winning school for a back-to-school episode
next fall.
Seymour, Ind., student Andrew Beckort of Emerson Elementary School won the
contest last year.
Kraft Foods Inc.'s 'Kraft Easy Mac' is a national sponsor of the
promotion.
