Emmys 2016: 'Game Of Thrones' Wins Emmy For Best Drama

HBO's Game Of Thones roared to its second straight Emmy Award win for best drama series during Sunday's 2016 Emmy Awards telecast.

The fantasy drama series bested The Americans (FX), Better Call Saul (AMC), Downton Abbey (PBS), Homeland (Showtime), House of Cards (Netflix), and Mr. Robot (USA) for the statuette. 

The win gave Game of Thrones three awards during Sunday's telecast and 12 total Emmy Awards, totalling its record setting take from last yearr.
