Jeremy Piven, Zeljko Ivanek and Dianne Wiest won a couple of early statuettes for cable at the Primetime Emmys.

Piven won a third successive outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series Emmy for his over-the-top portrayal of agent Ari Gold in HBO’s Hollywood buddy show Entourage.

Ivanek took home the Emmy for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series for his role as Ray Fiske in FX’s legal drama Damages.

Wiest won the best supporting actress in a drama Emmy for her role as Dr. Gina Toll in HBO's psychiatrist series In Treatment.
