The series, “Danny Fontana on Finance,” airs nationally at 3:30PM EST on INSP – The Inspiration Network

Indian Land, SC – Danny Fontana has come a long way. Today, this true Renaissance man is an educator, author, in-demand-speaker, successful businessman, media personality, and now host of his own nationally-distributed daily television program. But, he suspects that many who knew him growing up in Endicott, NY would be surprised at the success he has achieved.

“I’m sure that many of my teachers and friends wondered if I’d ever amount to anything,” Fontana recalls. Now, on a daily basis, he interacts with presidents of major corporations, national politicians and newsmakers. But he has never forgotten his roots. As the founder/Senior Partner of his own financial services company, Triune Capital Advisors, he counsels clients ranging from financiers and corporations to ordinary lay people, all of whom look to him for guidance in finding investments that best fit their needs.

He catapulted to fame because of his entertaining, engaging personality and his credibility as an authority on finances. This combination has brought him awareness as a weekly contributor to the Fox Business Channel. He serves as a featured blogger for BullyPulpit.com, provides analysis on a recurring basis to “Your World with Neil Cavuto” on the Fox News Network, and can be seen regularly on the “Bulls and Bears” program on Fox Business News. And, now he is the host of his own daily financial news program. As he looks back, he knows, “I truly have been blessed.”

Danny moved south after college and began working in the shoe business, first as a manufacturer’s representative and then as the owner of a chain of shoe stores. The venture was so “unsuccessful” that he calls it “the most expensive MBA in history.” However, that experience sparked his resolve and determination to pursue other avenues of success. Long interested in investing, he entered the financial arena as an investment broker. A desire to learn coupled with long hours and hard work paid off, and within a few years, he became Partner and Sales Manager at J.C. Bradford and Company. Climbing the corporate ladder, Fontana earned the position of Senior Vice President/Investments and Managing Director of IJL, Wachovia’s branch in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina.

While gaining experience in the business world, his natural communications skills made him a natural for both TV and radio. From 1993 through 1998, Fontana was the host of the highest profile radio program in the Charlotte market. From 2004 through 2008, he was the host of “The Danny Fontana Show” which appeared weekdays on syndicated radio network and on television through Inspirational Life Television network (i-Lifetv).

His guests range from financial experts like Steve Forbes, Sir John Templeton, T. Boone Pickens, and Ron Blue to political personalities like Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Senator John McCain, President Barack Obama, Governor Sarah Palin, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney. Over two decades, Danny has interviewed Presidents, heads of State, Governors, sports celebrities, and business moguls.
In addition to his media and investment activities, Danny has become an accomplished speaker. Audiences are dazzled by his ability to speak spontaneously and with authority on countless topics. His also has written two books and is an experienced educator. From 1986 to 2002, he taught more than 30 college-level investment courses and delivered investment and economic commentaries on both radio and television, many of which were syndicated to NBC-TV affiliates.

Now, Danny is particularly excited about his new daily program, “Danny Fontana on Finance.” “My goal is to make this program both informative and entertaining. These certainly are the most volatile financial times in our lifetime. I believe that viewers are receiving practical insights, and a balanced approach to news and financial developments.”

Ron Shuping, Executive Vice President of Programming for The Inspiration Networks comments, “We are fortunate to be able to provide this opportunity for Danny. We think we’ve created an ideal platform upon which to capitalize on his experience and expertise. He is a one-of-a-kind personality and a natural for television. His delivery resonates with everyone. And, each day, he presents a breakdown of the financial news in a way that really makes sense to the average person.”

Danny particularly is excited that people throughout the greater Binghamton area can see the program through DIRECTV and DISH Network. And he looks forward to hearing from people in his home town: “I’m always looking for viewer interaction, and it would be exciting to start receiving a flood of questions from my home town!” Danny comments that one of the joys of this program is working with his son, Casey, who serves as executive producer.
