Epix's recently launched streaming service Epix Now has added Roku devices and Amazon Fire TV to its lineup of digital distributors, the network said Thursday.
Roku and Amazon Fire TV subscribers will have access to all four of Epix's live channels and a host of new features within the $5.99 per month Epix Now app on supported devices, according to network officials. In addition, premium programming in 4K Ultra HD is also available to stream on supported Roku devices today and will be coming soon to Amazon Fire TV, said the network.
Epix Now -- which features access to thousands of hit Hollywood movies and classic film franchises as well as the network's original series such as Get Shorty, Berlin Station and Deep State -- is also available to iOS and Android mobile device users.
“Today’s announcement is part of an ongoing rollout of Epix Now, making our streaming service available to everyone no matter where or how they want to watch TV,” said Michael Wright, President of Epix in a statement. “We’re excited to launch on the Roku platform and Amazon Fire TV and can’t wait for new audiences to get access to and catch up on our premium programming.”
