Epix Sparks App for Fire TV Devices

Adding another key streaming platform to the mix, Epix said it has launched an app for the Amazon Fire TV to all authenticated subscribers to the premium service.

The app, which includes access to originals such as Berlin Station and Graves, supports features that allow users to browse picks curated by Epix’s staff, a way to search by title, actors, crew members, genre, and key words, the option to watch four Epix live linear channels, as well as a library of original theatrical trailers.

Subs new to Epix will also be able to trial the service for free via the Fire TV platform starting next week.

Amazon currently offers Fire TV boxes and Fire TV Sticks, but will soon expand its platform to connected TVs from Element Electronics and TVs offered under the Westinghouse brand.
