ESPN is beefing up the content on its broadband Internet service, which is
available to cable operators.

Launched with X Games footage at its core last year, ESPN Broadband now
boasts content from college sports, tennis, golf and the National Hockey
League.

Cable-modem subscribers have access to on-demand video, sports highlights,
news, stats, standings, background information and other editorial content.

Comcast Corp. and AT&T Broadband are among the cable affiliates pitching
ESPN Broadband to their modem subscribers.

The site also features TV listings, bottom-line-style statistics,
SportsCenter promos and links to EXPN.com, which houses 6,000 clips of extreme
sports.
