ESPN Extends NFL Game Rights In Europe

ESPN America has inked a four-year renewal with the National Football League for English-language European TV rights to pro football games.

The pact, which takes effect this season, enables ESPN America to air roughly 100 NFL games per season in 41 European territories. In addition to preseason and postseason telecasts, the net will air four to six live regular-season games per week, including Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football. The agreement will also take viewers on The Continent throughout the playoffs, highlighted by the Super Bowl.

Additionally, ESPN America coverage encompasses the NFL Draft, ESPN-branded studio programming and NFL Films fare.
