ESPN will unveil a new multimedia advertising campaign this week to promote its Thursday Night Hockey on ESPN.
The network said "The NHL on ESPN. Made in America, Delivered on Thursdays" campaign captures how the sport of hockey is truly an American game.
"With this campaign, we wanted to make the claim that the hard-driven ideals and blue-collar work ethic that have made this country great are the same qualities that make the NHL [National Hockey League] and its players great," ESPN senior vice president of marketing Lee Ann Daly said in a release.
ESPN's second season of Thursday Night Hockey telecasts begins Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. EST with a nationally exclusive telecast of the Detroit Red Wings at the St. Louis Blues.
