ESPN Inks U.S., MLS Soccer Pact

ESPN scored a multiyear agreement with Soccer United Marketing to serve as the exclusive worldwide TV representative for the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Team home matches, including World Cup qualifiers and international friendlies, as well as the global sales rights for Major League Soccer.

Deal terms were not disclosed.

Additionally, ESPN International has secured the exclusive cable- and satellite-TV rights to official U.S. National Team and MLS matches for broadcast on its networks reaching more than 120 countries and territories and Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and the Pacific Rim.
