The NBA and its media partners are gearing up for coverage of the pro basketball league's collegiate draft this Thursday.
Set for the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J on June 23 at 7 p.m. (ET), the 2011 NBA Draft presented by Kia Motors will be televised lived by ESPN. In addition, the worldwide leader will make the selection show available on ESPN Radio, ESPN3.com and ESPN Mobile TV.
Meanwhile, NBA Digital will be in the game as well. NBA TV is covering the draft for a 12th consecutive year with round-the-clock coverage Tuesday-Friday, June 21-24 and the concluding matters with 22 hours on Saturday, June 25.
NBA.com will feature video interviews from draft prospects in the green room and social commentary via Facebook and Twitter, while NBA Mobile will provide instant alerts and breaking news updates on draft picks through NBA Game Time, the league's digital app.
For pro basketball fans, this might be the last official NBA activity for a while: a lockout looms with the expiration of the league's collective bargaining agreement with the players association on June 30.
