ESPN Radio will begin offering its broadcast affiliates headline-news content for their Web sites, the network said Tuesday.

Available free-of-charge to its affiliates will be: “The National News,” which uploads the biggest headlines in sports news whenever they break; “The Local News,” which regularly updates market-specific developments in the National Basketball Association, National Football League, National Hockey League and Major League Baseball; and “The Pro Scoreboard,” which providesresults from matches and games chosen by the subscriber.

“We’re always looking to bring innovative services to our affiliates,” ESPN Radio director of operations Keith Goralski said in a prepared statement. “The minute-by-minute feeds will give our affiliates’ Internet locations the trusted news authority that fans have come to expect from ESPN.”
