ESPN announced Wednesday that it has restructured its affiliate-sales and
marketing staff due to consolidation in the cable and satellite industries.
An ESPN spokeswoman said no positions were eliminated in the
Four operating areas will manage the various aspects of affiliate sales and
marketing -- field sales and marketing, national accounts, sales strategy and
new-media and affiliate ad sales and marketing, ESPN said.
Jeff Siegel has been promoted to vice president of affiliate ad sales and
marketing. His former post, VP of affiliate ad sales and new business, is going
to Garry Perrelli, previously director of affiliate new business.
James Brown has been named senior VP of field sales and marketing. He was VP
of Eastern division affiliate sales and marketing.
In national accounts, David Preschlack has become VP after having been
Northeast region director, while Steve Raymond has been promoted to senior VP of
Western division national accounts from VP of Western division affiliate sales
Manish Jha has been promoted to senior VP of sales strategy and new media
from VP of broadband and interactive-television sales.
