Katie Lacey, ESPN's senior vice president of marketing, and Mike Lee, chief strategy officer of Rogers Communications Inc., have been tapped as co-chairs of the 2008 CTAM summit.
This is the first year the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing summit is scheduled in its new fall slot. It will be held in Boston November 9-11.
"I'm committed to tightening the Summit schedule, providing targeted sessions on topics attendees tell us they want most," Lacey said. CTAM members are being polled now on what's top-of-mind, and the trade meeting will be built around the results.
Lee added summit topics will include product development and management, assisting executives with strategies as they grapple with product innovation, tru2way and financially viable cross-platform opportunities.
In other news, CTAM has added three executives to its board of directors: Len Fogge, executive vice president, creative, marketing, research & digital media for Showtime Networks Inc.; Jonathan Hargis, senior vice president, marketing and advertising, Cablevision Systems Corp.; and David Juliano, executive vice president, marketing and product development, Comcast Corp.
