ESPN’s an All-Pro Again

The Pro Bowl, the National Football League’s all-star game, will return to
ESPN this season.

The total sports network will air the matchup -- pitting the best of the
American Football Conference versus the tops of the National Football Conference
-- from Hawaii Sunday, Feb. 8 at 7:30 p.m. (EST).

For the past nine seasons, the contest has aired on ESPN sister network ABC.
ESPN televised the Pro Bowl from 1988-94.

ESPN opens its 18-game regular-season NFL coverage Sept. 7 at 8:30 p.m. with
a rematch of last year’s AFC-title tilt as the Oakland Raiders visit the
Tennessee Titans.

ABC kicks off its slate Thursday, Sept. 4 at 9 p.m. with the New York Jets
traveling to FedEx Field, home of the Washington Redskins.
