ESPN Subs Out Knicks in NBA Schedule Revamp

Phil Jackson's New York Knicks have the worst record in the NBA, and ESPN, to mix sports metaphors, is punting three of the team's game off its schedule.

The worldwide leader has dropped Knicks contests against  the Oklahoma City Thunder, Brooklyn Nets and  the Los Angeles Clippers on Jan. 28, Feb. 6 and March 25, respectively.

As part of its revamped schedule of seven games, ESPN on Jan. 14 will air the Washington Wizards at Chicago Bulls in an Eastern Conference showdown on Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 8 p.m. (ET), in lieu of the Atlanta Hawks-Boston Celtics. In addition, OKC-Memphis Grizzlies has been added to the Friday, Apr. 3 schedule at 8 p.m., along with two Toronto Raptors contests.
