Driven once again by Monday Night Football, ESPN won the primetime ratings battle for the week ended Dec. 3, averaging a 2.6 rating.
Disney Channel and USA Network tied for second in primetime, each with a 2.1 rating.
They were followed by TNT (2.0); Hallmark Channel (1.8); TBS (1.6); Lifetime Television (1.5); and ABC Family (1.4). Nick at Nite, A&E Network, Fox News Channel, Cartoon Network and AMC tied for ninth place, each with a 1.2 average rating.
Nickelodeon won the total-day period, averaging a 1.7 rating. It was followed by Disney (1.3); TNT (1.2); ESPN and USA (1.0 each); and Cartoon, Lifetime and Hallmark (0.9).
