ESPN's Winter X Games Sold Out

ESPN announced Wednesday that it has sold out its Winter X Games coverage to
12 advertisers -- six 'gold' sponsors and six 'associate' sponsors.

Winter X Games VI is slated for 15 hours of coverage on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC
Feb. 1 through 5. The event will take place in Aspen, Colo., Jan. 17 through
20.

The sports competition includes snowboarding, skiing, snowmobiling and Moto
X.

ESPN ABC Sports customer marketing and sales president Ed Erhardt said the
gold sponsors are DaimlerChrylser's Jeep, a first-time buyer, as well as
AT&T Corp.'s 1-800-CALL-ATT, The Gillette Co.'s Right Guard Xtreme Sport,
Motorola Inc., PepsiCo Inc.'s Mountain Dew and Taco Bell Corp.

All are renewals from last year, with Right Guard upgrading from an
associate-sponsorship position.

In addition, most of the six associate sponsors are renewals from last year,
with Erhardt citing Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's movie, Rollerball, as a
newcomer.

Among the returnees: Circuit City Stores Inc., Sony Corp.'s Playstation 2,
the U.S. Marine Corps and The Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co.'s
Winterfresh.
