EuroNews cut a deal with TVext to distribute its programming on the broadband TV network’s Web site (www.tvext.tv).

The agreement will allow viewers in the United States and Canada to watch international news from a European perspective, including U.S. news from a European perspective, free-of-charge.

EuroNews, which is available in seven languages -- English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian -- reaches more than 188 million households in 121 countries worldwide via cable, digital satellite and over-the-air distribution.

The channel is also available on European cable, satellite and terrestrial platforms, as well as 21 IPTV networks and 24 mobile-phone platforms in 17 countries across Europe. And it airs live onboard 10 leading international airlines.
