Ex-Charter Execs Join Kent's Co.

CEQUEL III, the St. Louis-based telecommunications-management company formed
by former Charter Communications Inc. CEO Jerald Kent, has added four new
members to its management team, including three former Charter executives.

CEQUEL said it has named William Shreffler. former Charter senior vice
president of operations for the Midwest division. as senior VP of
operations.

The other former Charter executives to join the CEQUEL team are Andrew
Stewart, now CEQUEL's director of corporate development, and S. Tyler Nau, now
manager of corporate development at CEQUEL. Both Stewart and Nau had worked in
Charter's corporate-development and technology group.

In addition, CEQUEL hired former SBC Communications Inc. executive Martin
Kerckhoff as executive VP and general counsel. At SBC, Kerckhoff had been group
executive, corporate development and initial public offering for Telekom S.A.,
the national telephone company of the Republic of South Africa.

"These four highly talented individuals will help us to sustain and build on
the momentum we have gained in the past year," Kent said in a prepared
statement. "In this industry, experience counts, and that's what these
individuals bring to the table, complementing the significant experience we have
already assembled in our management team."

Shreffler, who has about 18 years of experience in the cable industry,
resigned from Charter in December.

With the new hires, CEQUEL now has 14 employees. The company was formed in
January 2002 by Kent (president and CEO), Charter cofounder Howard Wood
(chairman) and Daniel Bergstein (principal).

CEQUEL's main investment has been in communications towers. It holds equity
investments in and manages AAT Communications Corp., which owns or manages more
than 5,000 tower sites across the country.
