Ex-FX VP’s Sentencing Postponed

The sentencing date for former FX vice president Steve Webster has been delayed.

Webster pleaded no contest in September to one count of unauthorized wiretapping. Prosecutors indicted him, alleging that he eavesdropped by phone for three-and-a-half years on weekly executive teleconferences after he left FX in 2001.

Webster allegedly passed information he gained from those calls to outside sources, including trade reporters.

A spokeswoman for Los Angeles County Superior Court said a new sentencing date has been set for Nov. 30.
